Mai Chong Yang, Acupuncturist

Mai Chong Yang received her master's degree in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine from Northwestern Health Sciences University in Bloomington, Minnesota, where she trained in acupuncture and Chinese herbal therapy for 3 years. She has been trained at various clinical settings including Abbott Northwestern Hospital, Salvation Army, Harbor Lights, Aliveness Project, Pillsbury House Community Clinic, Bloomington Natural Care Center, and DeRusha Clinic. She has experience within a private style setting as well as a community style setting. She has been trained to work along side western medical doctors in a holistic and integrative setting that helps the improvement of patient care. Mai Chong holds a license to practice Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine in the state of Wisconsin. She also received a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse. She has worked with various cultural and ethnic groups as well as with individuals with special needs during her time at the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse and Northwestern Health Sciences University.
